Messina Hof Winery and Resort Named "2009 Best Wine by the Glass of the Brazos Valley"

HOUSTON (July 29, 2009) -Messina Hof, the fastest growing award-winning winery and resort in Texas, recently won the "Best Wine by the Glass" award through the annual competition presented by Bryan Broadcasting and Bryan Broadcasting Publications, announced Paul and Merrill Bonarrigo, co-founders of Messina Hof.

Messina Hof boasts award-winning wines and vineyard cuisine at The Vintage House Restaurant as well as romantic and luxurious stays at their bed and breakfast, The Villa, which was voted "Most Romantic B&B" nationwide. The 100-acre property also provides a casual setting at The Wine Bar.

This year, the "Best of the Brazos Valley" competition garnered more than 250,000 votes. Voting online was open until July 6, 2009 and print ballots were accepted until July 11, 2009.
