The Wine Vine - South Carolina Wine Tasting by Tanya

Hi! My name is Tanya Richburg. I live on James Island in Charleston, SC. I am about 3 miles from the beach and want to be closer!! I am married to a wonderful husband, Rick. We will be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary Friday August 17, 2007. I have four (4) children – all boys! Their names and ages are – Ryan/25; Logan/23; Alex/18 and Zac/17. I am hoping one of them will give me a granddaughter some day!!

I am really excited about offering home wine tastings with The Traveling Vineyard. This is something I have thought about doing off and on for several years. I finally decided that there is no time like the present! I am willing to go pretty much anywhere in South Carolina. I think the furthest drive from my location would be around 3 hours. I will definitely go to the surrounding cities – Kiawah / Seabrook Island, Johns Island, Mt Pleasant, North Charleston, Summerville, Ladson, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Greenville or any towns in between.

You can contact me through email or read more on my Traveling Vineyard home page www.myttv.com/Tanya11777

Thank you,
Tanya Richburg

Attempted robbery becomes soiree with wine, cheese, group hug

ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON — Police on Capitol Hill are baffled by an attempted robbery that began with a handgun put to the head of a 14-year-old girl and ended in a group hug.

It started around midnight on June 16 when a group of friends was finishing dinner on the patio of a District of Columbia home, authorities and witnesses said. That’s when a hooded man slid through an open gate and pointed a handgun at the girl’s head.
