I have had some emails from some readers interested in finding out what are company actually does, so I thought I would give you all a semi- brief synopsis.

The Traveling Vineyard operates in half of the states in the US. We are revolutionizing the wine tasting experience because we are turning living rooms into tasting rooms. Dear Friends of Free the Grapes,
This email update is rather lengthy but it provides summaries of direct-to-consumer shipping legislation during this busy season. If your state is one of the remaining few which does not allow legal, regulated direct shipments, and it is not referenced below, then significant legislation is not in the works.

The Kentucky Derby Festival will make a splash starting tomorrow when it uncorks the second annual Old National Bank WineFest.

The number of participating wineries has increased to 10 from last year's six, giving participants a chance to sniff, swirl and sip a wider range of Kentucky's finest wines.

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Harriet Allen has spent years nurturing row after row of grapevines springing from fertile Kentucky soil once prized for producing tobacco.
Once the grapes are turned into wine, Allen sells her vintages to people visiting an 18th-century farmhouse at her Talon Winery & Vineyards in Fayette County.
